My name is Matt and I love helping people change. I see my role as a therapist to be a partner walking along side you, assisting you towards the path you wish to take. In each session I will listen with great purpose and without judgment to understand all that you are. I have experienced many milestones, changed careers, and through my background in athletics and schooling have acquired skills to tackle different situations.
My approach is finding the best solution for you, and I utilize Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to accomplish this. I am experienced working with substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, life transitions, athletic performance stress, and anger.
